Frontline Appliances is a small veteran & woman-owned business located in Tucson, AZ. We sell refurbished and new home appliances and fix them too. We've served thousands of clients (no seriously, THOUSANDS) in our community and aim to provide the best service that money can buy. The Role: Appliance Installer

As an Installer, you will be playing a crucial role in our delivery team by handling all aspects of appliances: delivering, installing, testing, inspecting, washing, and organizing. Your mornings will typically consist of reviewing your route and loading your units for the day's deliveries. During deliveries your tasks will include preparing homes and businesses for appliance installations, setting up new appliances, ensuring they work perfectly, answering customer questions, and demonstrating how the appliances work. When you return from your route, you will unload all units, perform maintenance tasks, conduct appliance testing, washing, and inspections, and organize our showrooms. You will also be in charge of maintaining tools, delivery vehicles, and our warehouse to ensure everything runs smoothly. This job offers a sense of fulfillment as you directly impact our daily operations and customer satisfaction. If you enjoy being active, we guarantee you will definitely get your steps in. Finally, who doesn't like tools? We love tools because they're just badass! You will use all sorts of them and get really familiar and confident in using them, so if you have no experience, no worries, we will show you the way.

 

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Have a can-do attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Bring a positive, hardworking mindset and the physical ability to move and maneuver heavy appliances—sometimes in tight spaces. You'll be using dollies and other gear, but a good level of physical fitness is important. If you’re comfortable rolling up your sleeves, getting hands-on, and tackling some heavy lifting, you’ll fit right in.

  • Possess strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills and attention to detail. 

  • Although you may be working alone the majority of the time, you must be comfortable working, communicating, and collaborating with others.

  • Must be at least 21 years old.

  • A driver's license and a clean driving record.

  • Must be able to pass a background check.

Don’t worry if you’ve never installed an appliance in your life—we’ll teach you every step of the way. All we need is your enthusiasm and willingness to dive in.

Our compensation strategy is strictly merit-based: it doesn't matter how long you've been with us or how much experience you bring—results speak volumes, and pay follows performance. Everyone starts at a base pay of $16 per hour. After completing 30 days of hands-on training, you become eligible for uncapped performance pay—meaning you control your earning potential. No ceiling, no limits—$25/hr is just the bar for Installers, and we love to see it broken. If you’re the type to bet on yourself, this is your arena. This position is located at 1420 S Alvernon Way and is an in-field role. This is a full-time opportunity and operates Monday through Friday, with the working hours set from 8 AM to 5 PM. You'll enjoy working in a culture of empowerment, autonomy, and encouragement for ideas and improvements.

  7. Driving Test, Hands-On Assessment & Second Interview: On a separate day, you’ll return to complete a driving test and hands-on skills assessment, followed by a second, in-depth interview to review your work history and experience.

  8. Background, Reference, and Drug Screening: We’ll conduct standard background, reference, and drug checks.

  9. Job Offer: If everything checks out, you’ll get your official job offer and become part of the Frontline team!
